How long you making jumps with hooks? Did you jump with hooks?
I started in summer 2015. I jumped 3 times (info for 2020). First time in Novosibirsk with Stan Aksenov, and twice with Sasha, both times from 250m mountain. I didnt jump a lot, its not my pleasure, I mostly like to create new kinds of jumps for others.
Tell me how bodysuspension in Novokuznetsk starts? Where did you get hooks/needles?
In 2015 with friend of mine we decided to try bodysuspension. I knew nothing about that at the moment and had no needles or hooks, so we did it with knitting needles...
Next time we tried to do that with nails. Needle - 3mm, polished nail - 5mm, so it was terrible to pierce, but we did it, and Lena hang on it.
She liked the nails more, than knitting needles, but piercing was more painful. After that, I rebuild fishing hooks and start to make bodysuspension for others - all my friends and even some clients wanted to try. I never take money for that, Im doing it just for fun. And some time later I made "gilson" hooks and we start jumping.
You making the craziest jumps I ever seen! Can you tell more about "nails jump"?
After at least 10 jumps I found the person who wanted to try jump on nails :) It was Vycheslav Potemkin, he is 57 y.o.
He is really cool guy! Before he did several ropejumps and 1 jump with normal hooks. This time we was very professional, sterlized nails, got better needles, so it was more easy to pierce. Exit point - 40m, total fall - 25m.
He jumped fast with first countdown, wasnt long in the air and we put him down.

And what about ice hole jump?
Idea about jump (without hooks) existed for a long time. And one day I thought "why not on hooks?" and Ksenia Smirnova agreed to do that :) February, 2016, cold enough -10-15C. Ice hole was the hardest part because ice was 70sm deep, chainsaw couldnt go deep enough, so we did the rest with scarps, loose 2 of them in water, something crazy! At the first jump we was too prudent and she hang on hooks 50sm under the ice hole, so I thought we will try next time again, but she wanted to jump again. Success! I think only she can do that.

What about the cave?
This day we did several usual ropejumps in the cave and got the idea to jump with hooks. Why not? Nobody did it before, one more record! Exit point - 20m, jump in really narrow tunnel 3mx3m, and fall into big hall. But we screw up this jump.
I kept the rope wrong way and it twisted in the alpine equipment, so "pick up" in the end of falling was super hardcore... Both hooks ripped out in 1sec and she fell in the harness. We took her to closest hospital (50km away) and she was okay.
Healed fast.
Multiway?
It was very spontaneouse. Got idea, got the team, jumpers - and lets go! After test jump everyone understood what to do and how to jump, so with hooks everything was smooth and funny.
Something else crazy?
Not really. Some acro. Some high objects (120m). As I know, girl who jumped from 120m was first girl jumped that high.
"Jumping car"?
It was very funny! It was my old car, not good already, so I decided to throw it from the bridge, and if car survive - use it more. So, we made the rope base, binded the engine, connected all the ropes to the roof and threw it out! The car survived, so I did cabriolette from it, and after sawed for metall. I really wanna make it with the guy inside, but its expensieve, so maybe one day...
How often you ripped out the hooks? Everybody are so curious!
Twice. One time in the cave, and another with 1 hook jump.
It was not an easy object, hard "pick up" from the side, so happened what happened.
I was thinking a lot and decided to change design of hook. I believed this form better, so I made it, and for the experiment, asked Katya jump again - same object, same skin,same weight, even ropes was same.
And the jump was succesful! Just small ripping, 2 stitches and that's it :) After that Katya never jump again, she got strong fear and after she practiced only usual bodysuspension. But she said, that when she ripped the hook she got much more emotions and she liked it more.
